Letter to 9th Grade SelfWhat's your first high school memory? What were your hopes, fears, distractions? Who were you 3 years ago?
Spend a thoughtful moment putting yourself back into the mindset of your 1st week at WHS. Then, write a heartfelt letter to your 9th grade self: -Comfort those fears, encourage your dreams. -Give that 9th grade you a few glimpses into the highlights and challenges of your high school career. -Remind yourself that you have all the intelligence, courage, support, resources, and strength to overcome difficulty. -Let your younger self know it's all turned out for the best, and you're just fine. In fact, your future looks pretty bright! |
Target MandalaFor this, our first semester back full-time after the pandemic and distanced learning, your reflection section is where you'll share your Target Mandala.
This is an artistic representation of your past, present and future. Consider and include who you were, are, and will be: How did/do/will you spend your time? Major influences? Favorite people, hobbies, songs, shows? Goals, ambitions, wishes? What symbols, images, words, pictures and ideas represent you and your life at 3 different stages: 1. The outer-most ring is your past. 2. The middle ring is your present, high school self 3. The center circle, or 'target' is your future. Samples of previous Target Mandalas: |
